have been told that I should really start writing here again, but not sure if anyone actually reads this anymore...
in any case, am off around the world again, china and the usa for a bit.
am thinking of getting a tattoo, my first one while away as a reminder of the trip, knowing me I will chicken out as usual and regret it, meh we'll see what happens

Thank fark for that. The summer has "officially" ended. Bushfires killed hundreds this year, not good at all.
Not sure who's reading this anymore, but meh, I may as well still type. It's an outlet I suppose.
Bought the DSLR camera over a month ago. It's a bit spesh. Photos from it are fan-fucking-tastic.
Flying to Melbourne this week to see Coldplay live in all their glory
Annual leave for a week, and a house move on the cards.

BOO!
Not like I am a creature of habit or anything but kind of miss writing in this thing....
2008 was long and rather repetitive. Managed to spend a total of 2 months out of the country for work, a couple of more interstate. Plenty of flights caught, a stack of frequent flyer miles now in my account.
Christmas is one thing I am getting over really quick. Present buying is a chore, I seem to resort to gift cards for the closer relatives and nothing for everyone else. It has got far too commercial for me, and with a disfunctional family that wants to live all over the countryside and put up brick walls between them, it just isn't a celebration any more.
Yay! bring on easter. Hot X buns in the shops already....
Am thinking of lashing out and getting a new D-SLR camera that I have been looking at for a while, with the way the aussie dollar has been plumetting, imports are only going to go up, but it is also hard to stomach spending $1300AUD on a camera that is only going to be an expensive hobby...
I dunno, it's only money. And speaking of which, I didn't win the lottery this week, so back to work on the 12th for another year of fun and games and politics and bitchiness..... (bitter much!)

I am a technology slut.
I am getting a 3G iPhone from work as a company phone, in addition to my new Nokia N95-8gb.
I just got a new dell xps notebook as well.My 4 month old iPod classic died after a plane flight last week, and no, it didn't fall out of a hole in a qantas plane.
Clocking up the frequent flyer points still, 6 flights in the last 4 weeks.
Perth was nice, Melbourne was cold, New Zealand was colder.
